Peacefully after a courageous battle, Israel (Izzy) William Cohene, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. Son of the late Sylvia and the late Joseph Cohene. Brother of Ivan (Carolyn). Uncle to Jessica, Tracy, and Robert. Izzy will be sadly missed by Gerry and Bing, Mike Cohene, special friend of Andrea and Stuart Fried, his many cousins, close lifelong friends, and all those who knew him. Devoted partner to Arlene Goldberg. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of Saint Mary’s Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital. Special thank you to Dr. Golda Tradounsky for all her care and compassion. Graveside service on Monday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Young Israel of Val Royal Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
